Once an ATO candidate has completed all phases of basic ATO training, the candidate is awarded the certification of "Anti-Terrorism Officer" and moves on to the final phases of site-specific training and hazmat level-III certification.
CIS ATOs are assigned to protecting a wide range of facilities, from power plants and energy control stations to chemical plants and seaports. CIS Anti-Terrorism Officers are the first of a new breed...private security officers that are specifically trained, equipped, and supported for the specialized purpose of preventing and countering terrorist attacks.
