Clearwater, August 2, 2007- Critical Intervention Services (CIS), Tampa Bay's leading provider of high risk protective services and security solutions, is proud to announce a new strategic partnership with CIS Waterborne Services to provide a range of special functions including: vessel search for explosives and hazardous material; property recovery; weapon recovery, search and rescue.
According to CIS President, Poulin, "The partnership with CIS Waterborne Services allows us to provide a new range of protective services to existing clients and to enter into markets we do not presently serve. We expect our services to include: search and rescue, hull searches, asset recovery, and many other waterborne types of services.
CIS is the only security agency in the United States that trains and deploys Anti Terrorism Officers to protect major critical infrastructures. In addition, for over 15 years the CIS Special Services Group has successfully provided protection in most of Tampa Bay's most high risk communities. Poulin says that waterborne operations is a natural extention of the homeland security services the agency already provides.
CIS Waterborne Services consists of a group of individuals that are dedicated, very well trained and have a team mindset. The team is equipped with the latest state of the art dive equipment. Team members are required to participate in regularly scheduled training and dives.
