CIS is pleased to sponsor our clients through FREE Concealed Weapons Classes at S2 Institute for up to two members of your management team and/or staff. This Includes HOA Board Members. Additional members of your team may attend the class at the reduced cost of $65.00. Classes generally take place on Sundays throughout the month from 9am to 3pm at the Wyoming Antelope Club.

If you are interested in attending, please email my assistant, Brenda, with your full name and the date which you would like to attend. Her email address is:

Class dates and availability can be found at the S2 website, S2 Safety & Intelligence Institute, along with a list of required equipment needed for this class.

Sergeant Victor Reyes Earns Night Stalker Coin
Submitted by: Captain Joseph P. Carchio, Commander Special Services Group

On July 30th, Sergeant Victor Reyes was presented with the Night Stalker Coin for all of his hard work and dedication to Critical Intervention Services thus far. Over the last year, Sergeant Reyes has been the Field Training Officer in Tampa--a position he has preformed excellently. He is respected by his peers and is always willing to go above and beyond in assisting CIS in any way he can. Sergeant Reyes keeps in constant contact with his trainees long after they pass their field training and always makes himself available to take a call from officers. Sergeant Reyes has led by example and truly embodies our CCBPI methodology. As the Field Training Officer he has engrained our concepts and methodologies into the minds of our new officers in the field. Sergeant Reyes will be leaving for Orlando next week to begin a new chapter in his CIS career as the new Orlando K9 handler. His leadership will be missed in the Tampa Bay area. However, he will be bringing his strong work ethics and leadership skills to Orlando.
National Night Out Thank You from MetroWest
Submitted by: The MetroWest Masters Association

We wanted to say a special thank you to the CIS team for making the August 5th National Night Out event for MetroWest Unit 5 an impactful one, it was such a wonderful success! We hope that, despite the heat, the CIS officers were able to enjoy themselves. Your help setting up, presence at the event AND help with clean up was really quite overwhelming. We hope that you are enjoying the pictures and videos sent over by the MWMA and CIS officers.

Thanks again for your partnership and the support you are giving to MetroWest. We
are truly off to a great start!
Take a Tour of the Public Safety Center
Submitted by: Chief Hector Rodriguez, Chief of Protective Services

Recently, we once again had the pleasure of touring some new Orlando clients through our Public Safety Center (the location of CIS headquarters) in Largo, Florida. The clients were able to get a behind the scenes look at our 24/7 Operations Center, meet with our department leaders (Accounting, Risk Management & Professional Standards, Human Resources, and Command Staff), as well as tour our training facility, which trains private and public sector practitioners internationally.

I highly encourage anyone that would like to tour our facilities to send me an email to setup a tour. It is very important to us that our clients fully understand the resources that are part of our service and see all of the work that goes on in the background to provide protection for clients' properties and mitigating their liabilities. These tours are truly a great experience for clients, not to mention a lot of fun! Transportation as well as lunch would be provided to any client that schedules a tour. I hope you take advantage of this opportunity and get to see why CIS is "The Critical Difference".
