Largo, May 20, 2011 – At the request of Mathew Little’s family, CIS will be providing the full CIS Honor Guard at a Celebration of his life to be held Saturday, May 28th at 11:00AM at Twin Lakes Park in Sarasota. In addition to the CIS Honor Guard, the St. Petersburg Police have also volunteered their Honor Guard to take part in the ceremony.
The service is limited to family, friends, security companies and law enforcement personnel who would like to pay their respects. The wearing of agency uniforms is encouraged. All are asked to arrive by 10:30 AM. Security and law enforcement agencies, and personnel that are planning to attend are asked to RSVP with the number attending to CIS SMSgt Carlos Ruiz, at ruizcf@cisworldservices.org or 727-482-8283 by Tuesday, May 24th.
There will be a special area set aside for media, however, no interviews will be granted. Media is asked to arrive by 9:00AM to begin set-up. Please contact Amy O’Rourke for additional information.
CIS will be establishing a scholarship in Mathew Little’s name, to assist children living in the community that Mathew primarily worked. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to this fund.
